Who am I? It's a question we don’t really ask ourselves
mentally, but something we explain to others as time passes. Somewhere down
the road we paint this picture of what our lives will be like when we get
older, what we’ll look like, where we’ll live and the man or woman we’ll end up
marrying, how many kids you'll have, and hope our lives turn out the way we
planned them to. We’ll change our minds about everything anyway because we become
older, more financially comfortable and a lot more mature. As we grow, we shape the things around us like
our family, friends, and scenery. We learn from our parents, older relatives,
neighbors, and things we see and hear every day to learn what’s good or bad,
what to do and not to do. We learn these things because once we become parents,
older relatives, or neighbors, there will be the next generation learning and taking
in the same things we learned, but the only difference is, it’ll be from us
instead. The people around us teach us and provide examples for us about the
things we some day will encounter and we’ll probably remember them for the rest of
our lives. We have heroes and people who inspire us for a reason; because some
day we hope to be like them; where we will inspire others, teach them and make
a difference in what they do. So when you finally ask yourself “who am I?” take a quick moment and
realize what you have learned, what you have experienced and even felt from
others around you. Face reality, face what is in your heart and soul and face
the right path God will lead you down, because once you start walking, you’ll
love who you are destined to become…
