Behind these eyes a watery, salty substance releases.

It falls down when it realizes you have been mistreated, defeated, and deceived.
This has happened more than a few times, but yet you still stay.
Constantly telling yourself this love is the right way.
Until it happens again, and again and again.
Behind these eyes a watery, salty substance releases.

This watery salty substance that falls from your eyes is called tears.
I’ve have known him for a few years.
He dries up after a little while, and helps you feel relieved.
Makes you forget about how you’ve been mistreated, defeated, and deceived.
You’ll start to understand tears and like what he does for you after a while,
